There was hours of coverage on CNN the other day. Lots of old footage from the people on the street, hospital etc. It was really interesting. I don`t know if it was shown here.
I watched a programme on this a few days ago which concluded that the fatal shot (i.e. the one which blew half his head off) was fired as a result of a tragic accident by one of the secret service goons in the car immediately behind his.
I did the JFK assassination tour in Dallas one time. We stood on the grassy knoll, went in the Book Depository and even followed the route the ambulance took to the hospital - macabre. I bet they`ll be doing a roaring trade next week.
There has been a series of programmes on PBS channel on Sky, which are to be repeated tomorrow at around 1.15 pm (channel 534 on sky) it is in four parts, and is very interesting.
If you ever get the chance to see a film called Thirteen Days I'd recommend it. It's all about the Cuban Missile Crisis, gives an interesting insight as to the goings on in the White House during that time.
Just been watching it at clients' houses with them. It was really interesting. I don't personally remember it (10 plus years before i was born),but they do. Does look like it was security behind who killed him.
I watched some bits of the one on the other night and I must admit I screamed out when they showed him being shot. Never seen that part of footage before and it left me quite stunned.
