...mmm......if you deleted the files by using the cameras Delete button then I would say a definate NO!

If you some how corrupted the card by jamming the thing in the slot then maybe there is something you can do but, nothing I have heard of.................commoner. :-(

Get a copy of Bad Copy pro from

http://www.jufsoft.com/badcopy/

If the files are there it will get them back for you.

Try downloading Zero Assumption or one of the other free programs at http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/system/fwdatarecovery_ r.html

One thing. Deleting a file does not delete it. The file is marked as deleted and are written over when the next picture is taken. A deleted file can easily be recovered. A corrupted file is a little harder. The above software will try to recover both. It has worked really well for me on both camera cards and CD's and recovered lots of files.

Confab

...confab I am speechless....that program recovered over 120 images that from an apparently empty Compact Disc card. I even formatted the card in the camera first..............thanks for that. I will be more careful what I do with my old cards in future <G> commoner.

Pity they want $40 for the save option key...don't suppose there's a way round it...;-)

$40 is a small price to pay when you've just deleted a priceless photo!

There are lots of free file recovery progs available but none with the support that you get using BadCopy Pro. Just try Googling!!

thank you so much :) will try when I get home tonight.
...Agree there Confab...some of my grandkids ARE priceless. I have now got the full version...thanks again...commoner ;-)

There is an alternative to the chargeable version. The programs here are free:

I've used them recently and it saved me a lot of trouble!!!

Do these downloads work for accidentally deleted e-mails too?
I lost all the mail I got from my late sister thanks to a "glitch" and would love to recover them.
ianess - which email client are you using... Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird etc?
mattfox.....I believe it was Outlook Express but was using it through Incredimail if that makes any sort of sense. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi

Software such as this - http://www.softforall.com/Utilities/FileDisk/R-Mail_Outlook_Express_Recovery_Software09040026.htm - will recover from Outlook Express and software like this - http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Utilities/File_Encryption_Utilities/kernel_incrediMail_Recovery_Software.html - will recover from incrediMail.

I haven't tried this software and they are chargeable (although the free demos may give full functionality for a period of time!) but it may also be worth searching on Google for something like "free outlook recovery software" and go through the results!

Hope this helps and good luck!
