Run As, Pop-Up
When I open Windows XP I get a pop up; ' Run as' asking me 'which account do you want to use ..'
I have tried using 'system restore', but for the first time in my computing life it does not work whatever date I choose, it appears to have been disabled.
I have used Microsoft essentials and Superspyware but it still remains.
I have found a question and answer site; http:// superus er.com/ questio ns/4524 27/run- as-dial og-pops -up-at- windows -boot-l ogin-wh at-prog ram-is- trying- to-run
Where somebody asks the same question, answers are given, but it is too technical for me to follow all the jargon, Can anyone explain what it is, is it malevolent, and how to rid myself of it, in simple terms please?

Perhaps I don't understand what Doug Knox is saying, can anyone interpret it for me please?
I have tried many ways to remove this damn thing and nothing seems to work, it's even there if I open in safe mode. The only thing I have discovered is if instead of double clicking the O.E. icon on my desktop I right click it once and on the window that appears I click on 'open' I don't get the RunAs pop-up.
