Guest Towels
11 Answers
Went to Ikea today and saw a huge pile of guest towels which were not much bigger than a flannel. Now I have been a guest many times but never been offered one of these.
Does anyone use them and why not a normal towel, it just seems mean to me.

I inherited stacks of guest towels form my late ma in law.
She was German and they have them in the bathroom and loo for guests as they can use them once after washing their hands and place them in the receptacle provided to be washed .They then don't have to use towels that everyone else has wiped their hands on .
Much more popular on the continent than here . We use them though .
