There was a muckle avalanche of options this weekend so you had to be on the same wavelength as 'Princess Di' (aka Grannydi) in order to score points (and one person certainly was on the right wavelength).
ROSE GARDEN
HOUSE PARTY
TREE TRUNK
HANGING BASKET
Were you in tune with her?

Owllady was in time for a bonus on that one too.
One minute later, Seekeerz saw the wood in the trees and went with TREE TRUNK for her 2 points.
The next player, Aquagility, was celebrating with a HOUSE PARTY (Steady on Aqua - you have to watch out for your heart once you reach a certain age.) - 2 points. Big Mac was also there for a bonus.
And the very next player, Ulysses100, offered (with no promises though) a ROSE GARDEN for his two points.
I thought I was being left with a dilemma as by this afternoon, there were no multiple hitters: but 'saved by the bell' as they say.
The very last player, Elliemay1 came along at nearly half past 5 on Sunday with not 2 but THREE hits.
So I have no hesitation in declaring:
***** HOTSHOT FOR *****
***** THIS WEEK IS *****
***** E L L I M A Y 1 ******
*** CONGRATULATIONS ***
In summary, this week's scorers were:
2 Aquagility, BigMac, owllady, seekeerz, Strix & ulysses100
1 2unicorns, boxtops, CHRIS-Hewat, cliffyg, deecee131, Elspeth, jobjockey & tearinghair
So when added to the leaderboard, we still have the same leader but Elliemay1, Strix and Owllady have drawn up close behind while Beejay and Brenden have slipped back.
7 BigMac
6 elliemay1
6 Strix
5 owllady
4 beejay1124
4 Brenden
4 roslyn251254
4 ulysses100
3 deecee131
3 Elspeth
3 jobjockey
3 tearinghair
11 on 2 points
9 on 1 point
With two weeks to go it is still wide open and anybody's guess who will finally wear the crown at the end of the month.
'Princess Di' will be back as usual next Saturday with her fourth challenge,
So until then,
Same time (9am)
Same place (Q&P)
Happy Linking

Well done Elliemay1. I have been keeping an eye on all the links but left to go to Durham for the 'Lumiere' at 5.30 so didn't catch your contribution.
The Lumiere was lovely, only spoilt a little bit by rain. The cathedral was the highlight, being illuminated with pictures of the Lindisfarne Gospels.
Catch up with you all next week.
