When I initially went to a gynea because of the severa period pains she gave me the advice to take the pill continously for 3 months and then cont as normal and come back and see her. She said by not having any periods I wouldn't be aggravating the endometrium and the cyst which I also have might go away. as far as I know with Endometriosis it can come and go and just because you've had an op for it, it doesn't mean it can't come back. I don't know why you've got heavy bleeding and cramps midway through the packet but I hope you'll go to your gp asap. I hope for your sake that it hasn't come back. I doubt very much it's an infection but it's definitely your body telling you something.
Good luck
