my brother went to give blood,he has just recieved a letter from them saying blood group unknown,what does this mean,i thought it was easy to tell a blood group,is thie rare?thanks.

I'd contact them

It may be he's a blood group outside the normal ABO groups.

If that's the case he really ought to be aware of the fact

i think you need to get the letter and read it.

Did it really say, Dear John, Blood group unknown, love BTS?

and then ring them up
