Trouble Home Networking

I have a wirelessly enables laptop and a wired computer, which connect to the internet through my belkin router. I want to be able to network them so i can file share etc. I've had them networked before, however then i had to format my pc, so now i have no network between them. I've ran the XP network wizard and I cant network them through that, even though I selected all the right options. Can anyone help me???

Right-click anything you need to share and select sharing from the options on the drop-down menu and tick 'Share this folder on the network' on the resulting window.
