Last night on Westwood on Radio 1 he played a tune that sampled Wait a minute Mister Postman throughout the track but he didnt say the name of the tune or Artist. I have been and listened to it again but there are no available tracklistings so i am at a loss as to what it is! Thanks in advance!

and ask them why Westwood track listing is not on the Radio One site - and while they are there, can they check out this track for you.

The Beatles did it back in 1963 if that helps. I think it was on their first (or second) album.

Cheers Guys. I have mailed Radio 1 as the tracklistings for that show are still not there and i need to get this tune as it was a belter! It wasnt a beatles sample as it was a Female and im thinking it is from an R&B or Soul version of the song.

Thanks again

the carpenters had a version out in the 70s i think

Cheers but i am not after the original or old versions i am after this new version which samples that tune!
It's probably Juelz Santana "Oh Yes (aka Postman)"
The version of "Mr. Postman" sampled is by The Marvelettes.
