Sally Has Eaten Some Chocolate!
27 Answers
She got into a box of filled chocs and has eaten 3 white and three milk. Looking at the weights I'd guess the milk chocs are about 35gm...minus whatever the filling weighs.
She seems ok…..what should I be looking for in case it does affect her? Can I still feed her later...assuming she wants food?

We keep some washing soda by in case of dogs getting to dark chocolate. Our terrier has had be given this emetic twice. According to the vet you have 3-4 hours to make the dog empty its stomach contents before the theobromine kicks in. Balls of washing soda forced down the throat will do the job in seconds.
Not gonna say anyone is irresponsible for letting their dogs get hold of chocolate, as they can be very determined. However, I am going to say how lucky all of those are who are bragging that 'their dog ate xxx amount and was perfectly ok' as though it fine to allow it - you have no way of knowing which dogs it will affect and how badly. Just hope no-one finds out the hard way like the owner of the Staffie I posted about the other day.
