I remember being lifted over the turnstiles at Vale Park. My Grandad would go through first and my Dad would lift me up and pass me to my Grandad. I also remember having a cup of Bovril and a bit of meat and potato pie at half time.

Last time I went to Vale park, they beat Spurs in some sort of cup match. Mr Tilly blamed the result on the bog they had to play on. Sore loser!

Sandy, most grounds don't have turnstiles anymore, not in the top two divisions anyway. They are electronic gates, which only allow one ticket holder through at a time. The days of bunging the man on the turnstile a couple of quid and getting in are over I'm afraid.
