importing dirtbikes

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of importing motorbikes (dirtbikes/scramblers/motorcross) etc from Germany or Belgium. Ive been told that its worth going over for a couple of days, buying a few bikes (as they're cheaper) and bringing them back - a bit like the booze runs from France! Is it worth it? Has anyone done it? Whats the best place to go to for it? Anyone got any contacts?

i would also like the same question answered as i want to start my own business through importing bikes but im finding it very difficult getting any information from abroad as to where to go and who to see about buying and transporting.

i need contacts too and all the helpfull information i can get.
