We had huge problems with wind damage but I think flooding would be worse !

Morning WBM xx How did lunch go yesterday and what did you have ?

It went very well thanks wendi. I had garlic bread with Stilton for starters, followed by steak pie with chips. Didn't have room for pud! Did some quality control on the wine list. :o}

Morning ALBA xx . WBM they do a lovey steak and ale pie at one of the places I go to.

The TA does all it's own wendi. The only food bought in ready made is sausages, they are made about two miles away at the farm that provides most of the meat.

They do Steak, steak and ale, steak and red wine and steak and Stilton pies. All are wonderful. :o}

Just been round the block with the pooch, it's a skating rink out the front

My new local is even making its own tomato ketchup....their cheese board is to die for - 4 decent chunks of cheese, roast garlic, quince jelly, apple and pear compote (homemade), homemade biscuits and wafers, frozen muscat grapes - a wood tray for presentation £7-50.

That is like this one freshly made while you wait and the fish pie is to die for . Steak and stilton as well .
