Petrol Leaking From 1997 Ford Fiesta

Went to get something out the boot of my car just now, and noticed a faint smell of petrol - then I noticed a wet patch behind the rear passenger side wheel - which is petrol. I filled it right up with petrol on friday afternoon, then used it friday evening, but not since then. Any ideas what may be wrong?

its prob just coz u filled it rite up. take it to a garage to give a quick check incase its the filter or pipes startin to leak

My Fiesta paintwork has gone all bubbly around the petrol filler cap, as the pump hoses don't seem to fit right into the opening and the petrol leaks down the outside and onto the end of the bumper. Perhaps this has been happening and building up. I have noticed others have the same problem, so must have been a design fault. I find it better if you don't push the nozzle right into the hole (as the actress said to the bishop!).
