I haven't been out in the car since Saturday lunchtime but had to move it back from in front of the garage earlier today, for the SOCOs to come to look at the garage (Another story!)

I went out earlier to move the car back but it would not start and I gave up.

I have just been out and tried again and it reluctantly started after some considerable time. Is it 'damp' or something?

If it won't start in the morning, then yes phone the AA seeing has you have homestart. They will start your car, then they will most likely tell you to take it out for a good run or try and flog you a new battery !.

Just an update on the problem. I didn't use the car yesterday at all and when I went to use it today, it just started without any problem. So, not a flat battery then? What did happen to it on Monday evening?
