Scams Using Name Of Amazon

I have just had 8 emails going in to my Trash supposedly from Amazon saying my order has been sent, but I have only 1 item on order plus the Order Numbers are wrong, nothing like Amazons order numbers. What is happening? Im going to delete them all.

I found 3 in my spam folder, I checked my Amazon account and it would seem that they are aware of this scam, and are looking into it, they advise to delete the emails

I got 6 overnight - binned them all. They want you to open the attachment which is extremely risky. Don't open the attachments, or if you have, run a virus scan. Now.

I get these emails in my spam box quite often, Tv's on there way blah blah blah, just delete them. If ever in doubt, go to your account on Amazon to check alls well but only login through your browser, never by a link on an email.

If you were to always go to the Amazon site to check the delivery status of any order then you could delete all such emails without a second thought.

Make sure your Amazon account has not been hacked and the delivery address changed.

Someone could have ordered stuff on your behalf (which you pay for) but got it delivered to a different address.

2 Amazon support, 2 bank support, 2 support service

I've been getting loads from 'Amazon' lately - and this morning over 100 from 'British Airways'. Delete!!!!

I got 2 yesterday and deleted them.

I got six today, have just deleted them, Its bound to be a scam, but then checked Amazon account to be sure.

I got one this morning, it had a = symbol before the word Amazon, I went to 'file' and 'properties' and could see it was not from Amazon so deleted.

I got one today, went to Amazon home page and it said it's a known issue, don't bother reporting as they're investigating. I deleted it.
