I've never made or even tasted that. Could you post your recipe please?

Whilst I can not know, I can say I have never had an issue freezing any soup I have made. The norm is to make lots of bowls and freeze all but one.

thanks will just make it the day before, I love it had it the other day in a pub, and thought i would make it.
Recipe

1 onion, diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 broccoli, chopped
2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1L chicken stock
100g Stilton cheese.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook onions in olive oil until translucent. Stir in broccoli and potatoes and cook until vegetables begin to release their moisture. Pour in chicken stock, bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in cheese until melted. Then puree.Serves six.

You could prepare and freeze it without adding the Stilton. Defrost and then add the cheese - happy cooking
If you are making it the day before why bother freezing? Just cool and store in the fridge then reheat.
Yes. I have made it many times and I always freeze my soups. It will be fine.
