For authentic food, if you get to the central market, upstairs there are stalls with the most delicious food and very good value too. Try the nasi goreng from the guy from the stall in the right hand corner. yum yum
Plus, when you get back to the airport, you can use the transit hotel to have a shower, very good value for about 4 (can't remember how much in malaysian currency)
The view from the KL tower is sensational, its in a slightly more elevated location than the Petronas towers, and the public viewing platform is much higher.
The market is great fun and kicks off around mid-afternoon till late. Buy another suitcase and enjoy.
Yep - take taxis - cheap and fine.
Go to the Polo club area and see the monument to where Malaysia claimed independence from the UK. The building across from the playing field is beautiful.
KL tower has better views and you can look down upon the Petronas towers although they are in line with you which spoils the view a little!
Take a monorail ride through town....
Fairly good regional museum past the train station. Large butterfly & bird parks which we didn't get to.
