Onesie Etiquette.

I know that the 'onesie' is something of a new phenomenon, so i am intrigued about the ettiquette of wearing one.
When we decamped back to my daughter's house after her son;s fourth birthday party at a local venue, her partner changed into his onsie.
My wife was aghast, likening it to getting ready for bed when there are guests present.
I liken it to putting on trackie bottoms and a tee-shirt - just being comfy in your own home.
Which is your view - or any other view for that matter?

Of which I will confess to having worn one. It was fashionable at the time and I had the figure. But the onesie will share the same problem as my amazing bottle-green side-fastening boiler suit, viz when you need a ladies widdle you have to strip down. That is a lengthy and irritating process to endure every time you need to go. So the onesie should go into room 101.
