Seems an odd concept to me but my wife fancies some.
Anyone use them? Any particular brand?

Yes, a large carving and a small prep. Very good, stay extremely sharp...but you need care, they can be damaged by dropping on a hard surface! You can pay HUGE amounts...mine were from Aldi, £8 and £5.

Now, Aldi's a good idea. Thanks for that
I got some cheap ones from Harts Of Stur. They are fine. Sharp. I'm told one has to take care not to chip them. Not sure they are particularly head & shoulders above traditional steel but I think they are ok.
