The vicar said he didnt feel it would be right to christen us just so we could get married so we didnt!
I guess its just up to the vicar of each church so I suggest you contact them and find out before you go ahead.

My newphew was due to be christened in a 'major ' church of the C of E. As his parents weren't married and his mum said she had no intention of getting married, the Bishop asked that as a sign of commitment (to the church and child) he would like the unchristened parent to get christened at the same time! They did it. So it appears to depend on a lot of variables including the views of your minister.
