SP, //What kind of psychological effect would that have on people who are already psychos?//
I really wish people would stop comparing Islamic terrorists to Irish terrorists - it's an insult to the Irish, who whilst their methods are to be abhorred, do have a valid grievance. Islamic fundamentalists consider all Muslims, regardless of country of origin, as brothers in Islam. They see the west as the enemy of Islam and western intervention into Islamic countries not as a war on any specific country, but as a war against a united Islam. That is the difference. If they were made aware in no uncertain terms that the majority of Muslims are not their 'brothers', it might well serve to indicate to them that they don't have the worldwide support they assume they have. This is a mindset like no other and it cannot be compared to anything the people of the west know and understand. Quite simply, they don't think as you or I do - and until we acknowledge that fact - and it is a fact - we will never begin to combat this. Time to stop making excuses for this, and time to stop trying to rationalise it. The reality is radical Islam is at war with us!!
