Not entirely this Friday writer ?E?N???N ; 19 down (5) they provided Chopin's keys ???Y?L; 23 across (5) Mortimer's seasonal country house ????A and 24 across (6) Roman School composer brothers from a north-eastern South American city A???I? - has anyone any ideas?

Could 15d be 'Sophocles'? - He is a contender for having written the 1st tragedy.

Cannot be Sophocles as the C comes into Thessalonica (Philip's daughter in Herodotus Therma) if 23 across is Siena then 19 down is ?DE?Y?L but if PLEYEL is correct then 23 across is ??L?A !!!!!!
