The locals here in Zim make cute baobab trees flat topped acacias or even proper Christmas trees out of wire. They are so nice and look beautiful all dressed up. Real trees or even fake ones set off my hay fever
Buy one of those pop-up trees, ready decorated, just squish it back down again in the New Year.
A relative's got one of those upside down trees, looks really odd!
Not an alternative but Ikea are selling trees for £25.00, but with a £20.00 voucher included, so that's not too bad??
