The obvious answer is to drop a line to the RAC to see if they can give you a copy, it'll probably depress you when you see how much has been done to it! Saw an orange Transit the other day, must have been you.
you will have to contact the company it was registered to. there vehicles are leased on contract hire terms and therefore the documents will be with the leasing company and not RAC, as contract hire vehicles MUST be registered to the leasing company. If you have been given a V5 log book the registered keeper will be on there. RAC should lease the vehicles from either Leaseplan, LEX or Arval.

there is quite a few of the old racs about the bloke i bought off had about 200

RAC's fleet is looked after by Lex Vehicle Leasing in Stockport (0870 112 4000). They will have the history.

Cheers,

thanks to steve about my rac van i will give them a try

john

I'm a RAC patrolman , any faults that occur with our vans are booked in and fixed via a quick call to LEX leasing , Most vans are still under warranty and are fixed at main dealers

Obviously the Patrol does not pick up the bill so most vans are in top notch condition
