What no Sticky toffee Pudding?"
A one off, no previous history of stomach disorders mentioned, no adversity to fatty foods, in a woman, i would guess aged about 45yrs of age.(I guess)
Two things spring immediately to mind: firstly acute gastritis due to excess acid and secondly, gall bladder problems.
No, I don't feel that food poisoning as a diagnosis has anything to offer.
off the top of my head, if your body didn't try to expel anything pronto then it probably wasn't food poisoning. Hopefully you'll get a more helpful answer.
no squad no previous problems good guess at age im 50 it wasnt a particularly large meal and i did only have 2 lagers left hubby at pub and came home as im not much of a drinker prob was gastro but i always thought it lasted longer glad it hasnt though , just tender today many thanks for reply
squad can you help ended up in hospital last night couldnt bar the pain no more they prodded and poked and didnt really seem to know what it was so said probablt food poisoning even tho i only felt sick and hadnt got diahorria they sent me home told me to get some buscopan , daughter went to get me some today but brought buscopan ibs relief can i take these ones as it says only take if doctor has diagnosed ibs
it started quite high up in middle and continued down past belly button felt like someone was twisting my intestines , still a bit tender with twinges of pain now and then but im alot better even ate my dinner tonight it was nice to have some food thanks
keep a diary of when it happens and how long after you've eaten what food it happens so you can tell the doctor. it reminds me of gallbladder symptoms but that was mostly accompanied by very sharp pain in the right hand side too, so perhaps it is wind which can be excrutiating. one tip is to have a really hot bath when you get the pains - was one of the only things that worked for me. hope it gets better soon x
