Good morning everyone - well we've had just about everything in the past few days, 40+degrees, then a howling westerly all last night and this afternoon...rain, steadily, so the garden's getting a good soaking, the only thing we haven't had is snow and that doesm't seem unlikely !! I hope !!

Are you all ready for the festive season ....I'm nearly there, only the dreaded hazelnut meringue which I'm hoping to knock over either this afternoon or tomorrow...I've never known a recipe with so many possible outcomes from just one set of instructions...thank goodness I only have to make one a year !!
