Youngest daughter arriving this morning to prepare Christmas Eve feast, rest of the family, son, other daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren, this afternoon.
Carol service in Lincoln Cathedral at 4 pm.
Suppose I'd better get busy on the ironing before Mrs BT gets up.
Good on you BT. My husband does nothing around the house. If he moves something like a chair from living room into kitchen it stays there. If he takes a pair of socks off and they fall to the floor they remain there. Until the house fairy comes along and picks them up. Happy Christmas to you and all the other house fairies out there.
I'll let you into a little secret grass carp, I bought an ironing press about 15 years ago, it makes ironing soooo easy, and I can sit at the kitchen table and catch up on radio programmes. Would recommend them to anybody.
ps.......can't cook, won't cook (except for my annual Christmas cake, and this year's effort smells fabulous), but most other things in our house are shared.
Waiting for a family member to fly in from Spain, was supposed to arrive yesterday but up to a few hours ago his flight hadn't even taken off. My son will catch a train down from Huddersfield today, so I'll expect delays there as well. Pick up the wife after she finishes work.
Cars got a full tank of fuel, just in case. Off to do a hoovering around now, I need 'brownie' points as well.
Good luck with getting your family all together, although I could think of worse places than Liverpool to get stranded, Everton are at home on Boxing Day!!
