Does any one know of anywhere i can get genuine ford parts at a cheaper price than my local dealer? they quoted me �230 for front and rear brake pads and discs.

go to your local motor factors. the reputable ones sell OE spec parts anyway. Most of the parts they sell are made by exactly the same people as the ford parts on the same machines with the same materials. the only difference is the part number put on them. Ford actually only make parts like panels themselves. All other parts are made by specialist companies who also sell to motor factors.

If you want original parts try telling your local dealer that you are trade via the phone get a price and collect.Ford manufacter their own brake discs in h/hempsted but it would be cheaper to get aftermarket parts but the ford ones carry better warrenty
