I seem to have lost the ability to see streets etc in a "plan" view (ie directly above)
GE seems to default to a kind of street view, and sets viewing at an angle rather than from above (when not in street view)
Hope this makes sense
Do I need to amend the settings somehow?

I didnt look at the link but I think know what you mean.

If you click 'view' on the top menu, then 'reset' then 'tilt' thats what does it for me.

If press the letter "R" key after exiting street view this will correct the map and north upwards as well.
