I am currently suffering from a repeat bout of this and am taking two different antibiotics.
I've just googled it and wish I hadn't. A new-ish treatment for difficult cases is faecal transplantation where the poo of a healthy donor is introduced to your colon....via your nose.
Urgh!

Urgh indeed, I hope you feel better soon.
Do you ever wonder how cures and treatments like this are thought of in the first place?...x

I do gness x
at least its healthy poo ;)
Just Googled this and found alternative methods of introducing healthy poop i.e.
by enema or poop in tablet form.
Question Author
danny, that sounds a lot less grim but an enema can't be much fun and even the thought of the tablet, knowing it is someone else's poo....I don't think I could swallow one
Question Author
I need to go lie down in a darkened room now...with a sick bucket to hand
I think it is a matter of needs must.
Do hope you are feeling better now Mrs O. xxx
