My cats can be quite vocal when they want something. When I try ignoring them they each have different ways of making sure that I pay attention. This clip is amazing.

It's worse when they get fed up with nagging, and attack your leg to get your attention :-(

I have two desks in my office room. Frankie can wander up behind me and he taps me on the shoulder. Sometimes I have been in a little world of my own and get a fright when he does it. Merlin must have been watching, but she headbutts me on the shoulder - and she is not a petite cat.

Maybe they could learn sign language.

Longmans - its easier to ignore them doing sign language than screaming at silly o'clock in the morning.

Dogs are intelligent (as are cats) but cats are much more deceitful and cunning. You will never get a cat to do something it doesn't want to do and it is capable of wrapping you around its cute little (armed) paw.

No, we don't have cats but our hounds can be talkative. Our most talkative animals are our alpacas, even the chickens will come up around our legs chattering away asking for their daily treat of mixed corn. Daisy the pygmy goat screams and shouts if I am late with her food.

Are the pygmy goats as bad as the normal sized ones when it comes to escaping? I don't really know anything about Alpacas - are they related to sheep or completely different?

@ Wolf, Alpacas are not related to sheep but are a close relation to llamas and camels, The little goat lives in the stable adjoining the alpacas and are best friends with Toby our male alpaca, as long as they are together the goat is happy and doesn't want to escape and Toby is very protective towards her.

My bengal gets up to mischief when he wants feeding. Trouble is he wants breakfast, elevenses, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper. To avoid over feeding I have to make sure temptation is out of his way until it is time for one of his four meals a day. What a cheeky devil.
