Sky Remote Button Issue

The select button on our Sky remote had not been working correctly for some time. It takes a really hard press for it to work if it even works at all and the back up and pause buttons are not much better. I've cracked open the remote today to see if I could put something between the buttons and the connections on the PCB but I don't know what material would work best as it seems to be a plastic or rubber material used. I assumed bit of tinfoil could be used but I'm not sure now


Does anyone know?

I'm afraid you are going to have to invest in a NEW remote control!! - Available in most reputable Superstores....

Yes you can buy a new Sky remote control.

It will operate the Sky box right away.

But to get it to work with your TV you need to do some set up (it varies depending on the make of your TV)
