Tuesday. The last day of the year. All is peaceful and calm so far this morning after yesterday's wind and rain. We did see the sun in the afternoon however. I hope we see it today too!

Not bad boatie apart from usual aches and pains,off for the papers and then prepare for Trish going into a frenzy as we're having a few friends drop in tonight.Luckily none of them are night owls so it won't be an all nighter like it used to be we're both past the time when we were up all night then off to the pub for the dinner time session.

Morning all - I think it's dry and not windy, though rain squalls are expected. Have a good New Year all.....Cold slowly on the mend down hear though I do sound like a penny-whistle at times - well in my head but, hey ho, what's different to normal times.

Morning all from a quiet peaceful Dundee - quite a change from the wind and rain over the past few days. Long may it continue. Hopefully getting my central heating boiler fixed today or I'm off back to bed to keep warm! A guid New Year to ane and a'.

morning all, I am going to have a lazy day and my pal Mags is coming over for dinner, we will see the New Year in [hopefully] and she will stay as taxis too dear, I paid £20 on Boxing Day to go just about 5 miles.
When CS was well we used to go to the Coteswolds for a new year break.

Good Morning, weather here ( Lancs) has been bad, I'm glad I took advantage of the weather on Sunday & replaced the roof of our Carport, another job done. all the best for 2014
