Hi all

I'm looking for some laptop recommendation.

I need a laptop (not too expensive) that will be good for storing all my pics, surfing net and I can use to run my business (will only need word and excel).

I've looked online for days but there are so many to choose from that I get confused.

Any help please?

Almost any laptop will do what you want.

So just go for a decent brand and maybe any good deal around at the moment.

You probably wont get Word or Excel with it (or maybe a trial) but if you don't actually NEED word or excel there are plenty of free alternatives, such as LibreOffice that include a word processor and spreadsheet.

I would agree with VhG and add the suggestion that you buy an external hard drive to store your photos on to keep your lappy 'clean'.
Here is a Toshiba laptop at £323.50 with a reasonable spec.

Is that the sort of price you are looking at, or do you want to spend less or can you spend more?
Here is a Toshiba at Argos for £349.

This has a decent Intel i3 CPU, and a HUGE 1Terabyte hard drive.

I don't have a clue about external hard drives etc.

Mainly need it for work purposes. Using the net to manage website, social media sites. I have LOTS of both personal and business pictures (business pics will change regularly) so Giga bytes, mega bytes and the like are all new to me.
