Might have been my friend who, shortly after she had graduated with her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology was asked for her name for something unrelated. She was then addressed as Miss H___ and took great pleasure in saying, "actually, it's Doctor H___." Exit my friend with a very smug grin on her face.
