How easy was that? Great game, great result, and Theo giving it to the morons just topped it all off. Sherwood's niaive tactics are gonna cost them finishing top 4. Oh happy days!

Well, I can't comment on that as it is something I would never do or like to see, however everyone saw the coin throwing, and you taking joy out of Walcott's injury is definitely not banter, it's moronic and childish.
morning Dave sorry you didn't like my little joke! never mind!
your quote....!!
"So a professional sportsman has to accept coins and stuff being thrown at him, along with verbal abuse, and can't give a jokey '2-0' to the crowd? It wasn't abusive or insulting. Are those fans so soft-skinned when it comes to taking it? I doubt it."

so i'm to take it if Adebayor had been injured at the emirates stadium and spurs were winning 2-0 you would not have minded him doing a jokey 2-0 to the crowd that then? hmmmmm bet not!!

Still doesn't excuse coin-throwing! If it had been the other way round, yes I might have given the player some verbals (not racial or anti-Semitic), but would never throw a coin at him. I guess it's down to the mentality of the individuals, getting caught up in the heat of the moment, and the fact that they have that inside them to potentially blind somebody. Probably the same sort of people who would kick the crap out of someone for 'looking at their bird'! You're either a brain-dead moron or not.
Wind your neck in dave, it's not a life threatening illness he's got

Anyone else nothing would've been said about his injury

Karma at its best
Bit like those Arsenal fans at Man City a few years back when Adebayor scored?

Every clubs got them dave
Question Author
'Karma at it's best'!!! That really is quite a staggering statement. So what your saying is that you're happy and think it's a good thing that a footballer gets a long term injury, just because he plays for your rivals and gave a wind-up, but non-abusive, gesture to the crowd? Don't forget, you would probably have been cheering him on in the Summer.
No, you're saying I'm happy and think its a good thing he out for six months.

I'm not bothered if he's out for six weeks or six years, and he wasn't a certain starter for England anyway.
Question Author
The sarcasm of your posts suggests an element of satisfaction that he is badly injured, which is really shameful. On a personal level, I hope you're happy with that.
Even Tim Sherwood, who is a thoroughly decent bloke, criticised those fans.
Football fans of all clubs need to take a long hard look at themselves - as if that will happen of course
Question Author
Agreed Ichkeria, but I would just add SOME fans need to take a long, hard, look at themselves, not all. I think we'll leave it there!
Lead by example Dave, I think we'ii leave it there!
