My mother is 79 and thinking of having her ears pierced for the first time. I worry that it might take a lot longer to heal in someone her age. Any advice?
considering the ops that are done on us wrinklies these days and the amazing success rate, I would have thought the risk was small provided that she does as Mamya says and is careful about hygiene. Good on here I say!!
Seriously though you may find it heals better if pierced with a needle as opposed to a gun. Do you have anywhere near you that does it like that? Tattoo parlours are more likely to offer this service over a jewellers or Claire's Accessories type place.
