What does anyone know about this?
My daughter used to live in flat(some 16 years back) which had an empty house next door.Now 16years later,it is still empty...a real eyesore!!!
It had obviously been empty well before she moved in.
It must belong to somebody...or if the person who owned it died and had no family whatsoever...what happens then.????

if people complain, eg about rats or dumping then the council have to take action.

Apparently most councils have an empty houses officer. Contact the local council.

Yes,I saw a documentary about abandoned houses and how they helped people buy them etc.Shame to let them go to rack and ruin.
