Hi allotment10. Although I did'nt reply to your post (Sorry). I've had 3 c sections. I was in for a week on my 1st,5 days on my 2nd and 8 days on my 3rd. It depends on how mother and baby are doing and if beds are needed. After my 1st c section I was only too pleased to stay in and rest as much as I could before going home. Even in hospital mums dont get a proper rest with feeding times plus ours and other babies crying. aww would'nt be without them though,rest while you can and good luck:-))

Hi allotment i has a section xmas eve of all times so i was in all over xmas they did say i could go home boxing day but as the dr was discharging the baby they noticed she had jaundice so i had to stay until new year so it all depends really. Good luck though and take it easy
