I have all the answers except one.

9D is the unclued answer for the main character in the play.
I just can't figure out the hyphened third word. (8)
I can fit a word that means adieu but it is not hyphened.

Just give me a hint. Thanks.

Kate of Kate Hall...hard to give a hint really . This is how she is "addressed " Kate of Kate Hall, my super-dainty Kate Some misprints in the preamble imho as far as I can see . For example 11a says 10 ( two words ) when it's only one .

Just googled Kate of Kate Hall and found it. Though it is not shown as hyphened.

I have seen Kate-hall hyphenated in a few places viz

Kate of Kate-hall, my super-dainty Kate,
