My Laptop Is Beeping When Turned On

Hi
I have an acer aspire 5830t laptop that beeps for a couple of minutes when I first turn it on then it loads up fine it is quick constant beeps. Any idea what this could be?

Just an additional thought:
Rapid beeps are sometimes generated when a key is stuck down on a keyboard. Take a look to see if anything is a bit 'sticky'.

The beeping you have indicated does suggest some form of Hardware problem. If the laptop still under guarantee, you need to contact the firm from whom you purchased the machine.

It could be worthwhile your contacting Acer's Helpline. Telephone calls cost 10p per minute from a BT landline, as indicated on the link appended. Alternatively you can E/mail the firm on-line.
