I have often been told I resembled the actor Nicol Williamson, and a long time ago we were both dating the same girl around the same time, which led to all kinds of confusions. Once in a pub near the Royal Court a man came up to us and said to me "Don't take any notice of what the bloody critics say, your performance last night was brilliant!". I said "Thanks".
