What is the current value in money for 1 share in british gas? I have no idea about the stock exchange etc etc

British Gas began its life upon the privatisation of the gas industry in the UK. In 1997 the company was divided into Centrica and the BG Group. Centrica now operates the 'British Gas' brand within the UK and focuses primarily on retail energy sales. BG Group now concentrates on exploration, production and transmission of fossil fuels, primarily natural gas.

BG's share price at close today was 1310.5p
Centrica's share price at close today was 327.0p

No perks for shareholders in either as far as I know.
