Viewing You Tube Clips On Windows8

have just got new lappie with windows 8. cant see any you tube clips posted just blank boxes...any ideas?

I think you need to update your Adobe Flash Player, this one is for Opera, Chrome and Mozilla http://softwarepuppy.com/review/Adobe-Flash-Player.html Or you can also download any of these apps http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/search#q=youtube&;s=Store that will help you to play YouTube videos by means of their own interfaces.

Youtube only works thru Google Chrome on my W8 lappy.

It should work in IE if you've installed flash. Chrome "bakes in" flash into the browser, so it will usually work there.

Maybe a Flash clash with your browser Minty - which one are you using ?

tambo looked back at other threads other than mamys some are opening some not ? think its IE8?

Ed says IE8 works. I couldnt open Youtube via Firefox, even after downloading Flash for W8.

It does work for via Google chrome, try it?

Antivirus stops Adobe Flash on mine but Chrome over rides that
