Help, I'm after a quick simple answer please.
I'm moving onto NTL broadband (only because they've now gone to 10meg and I'm too far away from the phone exchange to get fast phone based adsl)
At the moment I've got 2 PC's and a nework hard drive, but I'm looking to expand.
The Cable Routers I've looked at only seem to have 4 wired ports, and 3 are taken with my existing setup.
Can I simply plug in a network switch/hub into the back of my cable router, or will I have to search for a router with more than 4 ports.
More information: some hubs/switches have a port that has an "uplink" button. When pressed you can use this port to connect to another hub or a router using a standard CAT5 patch cable. In other words it does the cable crossing over for you.
