Worried About Ovarian Cancer
2 Answers
Since August 2012 I have had slight right side abdo pain, went to the gp xmas 2012 she examined me and said that everything felt normal and said its probably muscular, I had paracetmol and ibuprofen.
August 2013 pain was still there, again went back to doctors a different gp she examined me including a rectal exam and said again that it all felt normal, January 2014 I still have pain (it hasn't got worse)but I have noticed that I have now also started to spot very slighty (slight brown discharge about two weeks since the start of last period) so yes i'm panicking and fearing the worst. I have doctors booked for next week and i'm going to ask If I can have the blood test that helps to detect it.
I suffer with health anxiety and Im very scared, I'm 33 no family history of this disease but i'm still worried, had a smear recently and that came back normal.
I also dont experience bloating and my appetite is normal does this sound like ovarian cancer?

I gather from your post, that it is the vaginal discharge that is causing your main concern. This is not a common symptom of Ovarian Cancer....indeed it would be unusual in malignat disease of the ovary.
