I went and put some flowers on my friends' grave. He died in 1962. I've never forgotten him. He was the same age as me, 13. It was a tragic accident that happened just behind our house. He was great lad. RIP John. Sorry. A bit sombre that.

Not duty, lovely of you to remember him
Good for you
I bet you have travelled down memory lane too, lovely thing to do Clarion. x

Well done, don't think it's duty though, just remembering a friend.
Were there any other flowers there?
Glad you still remember your young friend. I lost a couple of friends...one died aged 14 and the other 18. Read about both in a newspaper...both tragic accidents and shocked me a great deal. I still think about them.
