Going To The Shops
48 Answers
Do we still get pleasure from going out to the shops?
Having some fresh air, and talking to a real, live shop keeper?
I never have a newspaper delivered, because I like to walk down to East Street, say hello to the guy in the shop, get a coffee, etc.
I like to go out to buy my newspaper, groceries, books, CDs, clothes, everything really.
But I wonder if more and more people would prefer to do it all sitting at a table at home.
I'm going to start a counter revolution against the online shopping culture.

She told the young assistant she needed a battery for her vibrator-assistant was speechless and trying not to giggle until I hastened to explain what it was for-not the kind she had in mind lol. Outside the shop.I explained why the assistant had reacted the way she did.Needless to say my friend was mortified but eventually saw the funny side.
