Our church is providing gifts for disadvanteged children, especially boys in the age 10 -12 group. Cost around �10. Any suggestions?

Boys that age seem to like them and they cost about 3 to 4 pounds.

If you have a pound shop in your area, you can get 10 toys for �10. Crayons, books, paint, pencil cases etc. It's the thought that counts.

My son is 9 and loves Bionicles. They are about �5 each and great for that age

how about Hot Wheels toy cars? there is a set for sale at Argos which is the Hot Wheels Atomix Batman Playset for �6.99

you could try cards games or for girls a sort of coloring pen set they can be quite cheep
